This Kulick's peanut butter cookie recipe is a classic that is a favorite for us. Its one that always has people asking for the recipe. These come out soft and chewy and have the perfect salty and sweet balance that makes them delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350F, line baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Sift the flour and baking powder together into a large mixing bowl and whisk together evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugars together, then add the peanut butter. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract, scraping down the bowl as needed. Add the in the dry ingredients and beat on low.
  • Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and place on the baking sheet. Flatten the dough with a fork in a criss cross pattern.
  • Bake for about 8 minutes, until cookies are just finished baking, they will continue baking on the cooling rack. Allow to cool before serving.
